From a little bit of research, it would seem that Steam uses its own firmware for the DS4 and I feel it just tries to emulate gyro but by using joystick inputs behind-the-scenes.ĭoes someone use gyro on PC to play Paladins? I am quite interested in playing with gyro, and I'd like to play it via Steam but for some reason, I can't get it to work like I want it to work. ![]() What is making Paladins on Steam not have good gyro controls but on Discord, it seems to work just fine. The only thing I wish I had was all the customization options I got from Steam and the option to finetune the input according to my playstyle. It was a 1000 times better than what I got on Steam. ![]() The gyro in the Discord version was more accurate and responsive, even at 10, 10 sensitivities. So far, 'Mouse like Joystick' was the best option, but it has its own problems.įor unrelated reasons, I downloaded Paladins via Discord and just happened to turn on gyro controls. Recalibrating my controller had no effect and I also noticed that the motion is delayed. Using Joystick Move and Joystick Camera caused my camera to spin endlessly or look up/down/diagonal endlessly. I tried using just 'mouse' but since the game disables the use of a mouse when playing in non-crossplay servers, that also didn't work. To make it work, I have to go to Steam Controller Configurations and assign the gyro to Joystick Mouse. ![]() A year ago I found out about gyro aiming and I tried to enable it in-game with my DS4 controller on Steam.
